Sudan was on the verge of civil struggle Saturday after a paramilitary generally known as the Speedy Help Forces (RSF) claimed to have taken management of the nation’s presidential palace, a world airport within the capital of Khartoum and one other airport in Merowe, north of the capital. Sudan’s army dismissed the RSF claims as “lies,” and either side accused the opposite of kicking off the battles which have seen airstrikes within the capital metropolis.
