DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — A Saudi-led army coalition on Monday began releasing 104 extra prisoners captured in Yemen’s conflict, a unilateral launch that adopted an organized prisoner swap amid renewed diplomatic efforts to halt the battle.

The Worldwide Committee of the Pink Cross stated it flew 48 detainees from Saudi Arabia’s Abha Worldwide Airport heading to Sanaa, Yemen’s capital that has been held for years by the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels. Extra flights with prisoners have been deliberate for in a while Monday.
