President Joe Biden’s candidate for the Federal Communications Fee, Gigi Sohn, has withdrawn her nomination after West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin introduced he’d vote towards her affirmation.
In an announcement, Sohn says she’d requested Biden to withdraw her nomination Monday night, blasting what she detailed as “unrelenting, dishonest and merciless assaults on my character and my profession as an advocate for the general public curiosity.”
